AJT Engineering, a leading provider of engineering solutions, proudly announces Steve Irvine as the recipient of the Safety Observation of the Year Award for 2024. This recognition highlights Steve’s outstanding commitment to workplace safety and his proactive approach to mitigating risks.
Steve was honoured for identifying a manual handling issue while using a coil to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of a product and for suggesting a design solution to mitigate lifting the heavy coil. His keen observation not only prevented potential injuries but also improved operational safety practices for the entire team.
